Tom founded Eagle Point in 2012 and led the development of the organization into one that is highly regarded for investment innovation and its entrepreneurial culture. In 2017, he received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Ernst and Young.
Prior to founding Eagle Point, Tom held leadership positions in the Fixed Income divisions at several investment banks including J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch and RBS. Tom was the U.S. Country Head at AMP Capital / AE Capital, where he was responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of credit and other private investments on behalf of several Australian investors. He began his career in the securitization group at Arthur Andersen.
Tom earned a B.S. in accounting from Binghamton University.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Dan was a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the CLO structuring group. He was responsible for modeling the projected deal cash flows, negotiating deal terms with both debt and equity investors and coordinating the rating process. In addition, he was responsible for exploring non-standard structuring initiatives such as financing trades with dynamic leverage, emerging market CBOs and European CLOs. Prior to joining the CLO structuring group, Dan managed BAML’s legacy CLO, TruPS CDO and ABS CDO portfolios. Prior to Bank of America’s merger with Merrill Lynch, Dan was an associate in Merrill Lynch's CDO structuring group, in the same division as Tom.
Dan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Dan managed the Private Equity, Special Opportunities Credit and Real Estate allocations for the 1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds. With assets of over $9 billion, the 1199SEIU Funds are collectively among the largest Taft-Hartley plans in the US. Prior to 1199SEIU, Dan was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Bear Stearns focused on alternative asset managers. Prior to Bear Stearns, Dan was the co-founder and President of Structured Capital Partners, a financial holding company formed to invest in CLO and structured credit managers. Mr. Spinner was credit trained in 1996 at Chase Manhattan Bank, where he began his career and spent seven years in the Financial Institutions Group.
Dan earned a B.A., summa cum laude, from Gettysburg College and an MBA from Columbia University.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Nate spent five years as a Credit Trader at Aristeia Capital. Prior to Aristeia, Nate was a Credit Trader at Luxor Capital. Previous roles include being a Managing Director in Special Situations at Jefferies, Distressed Credit Trader at Citadel Securities and Citigroup and Credit Trader at Barclays.
Nate earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Colgate University.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Karan was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at KLS Diversified Asset Management (“KLS”) for 13+ years, where he spearheaded KLS’s investments across specialty finance and structured products. Before joining KLS, Karan was a part of the Structured Credit research and strategy team at Bear Stearns where he was a top ranked analyst in Institutional Investor’s (II) All-America Fixed Income Research survey for his work in CLO and mortgage credit research. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Karan was an FX and Interest Rates trader at BNPP Mumbai (India).
Karan earned a B.E. from the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (India), an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad (India) and a Masters in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Rob was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Oppenheimer & Co. where he was the Head of Specialty Finance investment banking. Prior to Oppenheimer, Rob had similar roles at Incapital, Amherst Pierpont and StormHarbour where he was the Head of Origination and FIG Capital Markets responsible for providing financing solutions to funds and financial institutions.
Rob joined Bear Stearns in 1992 and spent 17 years of his career there in numerous roles, most recently as a Managing Director Principal in the Strategic Finance Group covering financial institutions.
Rob earned a B.A. in Economics from Denison University.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Patricia was a Junior Trader on Citigroup’s CLO/CDO Secondary Trading Desk where she traded across the CLO stack. She also spent three years on Citi’s Global Structured Solutions Finance Desk in New York, including a six-month rotation in Hong Kong, focused in the Transportation, Infrastructure and Power & Energy sectors. Patricia’s responsibilities included extensive cash flow modeling and credit analysis, as well as performing due diligence and preparing investor marketing and rating agency materials.
Patricia graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and a B.A. in Economics.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Joanne worked in Fund Finance at Macquarie. She helped structure and execute bespoke financing transactions for alternative asset managers including private equity, secondaries, private credit, real estate and hedge fund clients. Her responsibilities included fund and collateral due diligence, credit and capital structure analysis, legal documentation review and operational deal management. Prior to Macquarie, Joanne worked at J.P. Morgan in Equity Capital Markets where she helped market, structure and execute equity offerings for private and listed corporates.
Joanne earned a B.A. in Finance and a JD from the University of New South Wales.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Anthony worked in Leveraged and Acquisition Finance at Morgan Stanley. He helped structure and execute LBOs, acquisition financings, recapitalizations and refinancings for Financial Institution and Media clients. His responsibilities included credit and capital structure analysis, preparation of marketing materials and managing investor questions during syndication. Prior to joining Leveraged Finance, he worked in Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley where he focused on portfolio construction and Asset Manager evaluation, due diligence and reporting.
Anthony graduated from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College with a B.S. in Finance and Economics.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Dan advised a broad array of market participants in structured finance transactions and other complex financings, often in a cross-border context, as well as in connection with derivatives while at leading financial service law firms in New York and North Carolina. Dan has also held positions advising banks, asset managers, investors and individuals regarding leveraged lending, bankruptcy, securities laws & regulation and public/OTC derivatives across numerous asset classes and jurisdictions.
Dan received his J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was an editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Stony Brook University. He is admitted to the bar in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Sam was a Vice President at Good Hill Partners. In addition to helping manage Good Hill’s CLO portfolio, he executed trades, modelled cash flows, developed CLO valuation models and databases and prepared market commentary for investors. Prior to Good Hill Partners, Sam was an Associate Portfolio Manager at MKP Capital Management where he focused on the CLO strategy. Sam also traded European RMBS, AT1 securities and CDS Indices at MKP, including one year of international experience in London. Sam started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their FSR (Financial Instruments, Structured Products and Real Estate) practice.
Sam graduated from Villanova School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting and a Masters of Accounting.
Ken joined Eagle Point from JPMorgan Alternative Investment Services where he was an Executive Director. During his tenure, Ken’s responsibilities spanned managing operations of Private Equity and Hedge Fund Administration and leading strategic vendor partnerships. Prior to JPMorgan Alternative Investment Services, Ken was the Chief Financial Officer of Sailfish Capital and Financial Controller of Amaranth Advisors. Prior to this, Ken held several Finance and Operation Management positions within the derivative units of JPMorgan’s Investment Bank. Ken began his career as an Auditor with Coopers and Lybrand.
Ken holds a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Prior to joining Eagle Point in June 2015, Nauman was an attorney with Dechert LLP and focused his practice on investment advisers, private funds, registered investment companies and non-US fund matters. Prior to Dechert, Nauman was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of an Asia-focused alternative investment manager with US and international offices.
Nauman obtained his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a B.S. in Finance, Marketing and Operations and Information Management.
Prior to joining Eagle Point in April 2015, Mr. McGrady was a Director of Business Development at ZAIS, where he had worked for nine years. Prior to joining the business development team in 2011, Mr. McGrady was a portfolio manager primarily responsible for the surveillance and analysis of structured credit investments.
Prior to his role as portfolio manager, Mr. McGrady provided middle office support, asset valuation and surveillance. During his tenure at ZAIS, Mr. McGrady worked extensively with cash-flow CLOs including modeling and working closely with developers on the buildout of ZAIS’s proprietary structured credit analytics.
Kyle has a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers Business School, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Before joining Eagle Point, Ms. Fandrick was a Senior Compliance Associate at Bridgewater Associates, LP and prior to that was a Compliance Associate at PanAgora Asset Management.
Ms. Fandrick received her B.A. in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University and her MBA from University of Phoenix.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Cass was a tax manager in PwC's Asset & Wealth Management Tax practice where she provided tax consulting and compliance services to a wide range of clients, including multi-strategy hedge funds, private equity funds, and fund of funds.
Cass has a Master's Degree in Taxation from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Villanova University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to joining Eagle Point in March 2020, Josh was an attorney in the asset management group of Dechert LLP.
Josh obtained his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and has a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Miami, Florida.
Prior to joining Gramercy in 2014, Ms. Mandes was a Vice President of Business Development at Avenue Capital Group for four years. Ms. Mandes began her career in Investor Relations at Silver Point Capital.
Jenn graduated from Harvard with a B.A. in Sociology.
Prior to joining Eagle Point in 2022, Ms. Palkimas was a Human Resources Director at Starwood Capital Group. Before joining Starwood Capital Group in 2015, Ms. Palkimas was an Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at First Eagle Investment Management for over three years and brings over 10 years of HR experience in financial services.
Lauren graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Mary was part of the Client Partnership Group at Angelo Gordon from 2008 to 2021. Previously, she was employed at Ivory Capital, Auda Hedge and Spencer Trask Ventures. She began her career in the investment banking division of UBS.
Mary holds a B.S. degree from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Prior to joining Eagle Point in August 2017, Mr. Pine was a Director of Risk Management and Valuation at ZAIS, where he had worked for fifteen years. Prior to joining the risk management team, Mr. Pine held various analyst and managerial positions within the operations and finance departments as well as ZAIS Groups analytics subsidiary ZAIS Solutions. Prior to ZAIS, Taylor was the Trading Operations Manager at Beacon Hill Asset Management.
Taylor has a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University.
Prior to Eagle Point, Mr. Roth managed product development and distribution for alternative asset managers and also served as an investment professional in private credit, structured credit and other income-oriented investment strategies. Mr. Roth has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Mr. Roth holds a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Prior to joining Eagle Point, Lena was a Project Manager at Mariner Investment Group, where she supported the firm’s systems development and integration. Previously, Ms. Umnova was at JP Morgan Alternative Investment Services and Paloma Partners LLC where she was responsible for various administrative and accounting functions.
Lena has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Bridgeport University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Grodno State University, Belarus.
Prior to joining Eagle Point in February 2021, Seth was a Senior Vice President of Business Development at CQS, a credit-focused multi-strategy asset manager. Before that he held business development and client relationship management roles with HFR Asset Management, Man Investments, UBS Global Asset Management and BNP Paribas Asset Management USA (formerly Fischer Francis Trees & Watts). He began his career with Bankers Trust.
Seth has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan and his MBA from Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
